How Winners Are Selected

 

WorldSEAM runs on a two-tier cycle. Every two months a Regional Winner is selected from each of the seven regions. Every four months a Global Winner is selected from among all Regional Winners of that period. To become a Global Winner, a student must first win their region.

 

What Winners Receive

Global Winner (every 4 months)

• Cash award

• Official Global Winner certificate — printed and mailed anywhere in the world

• Public recognition on worldseam.com and communications to all participating schools

Regional Winner × 7 (every 2 months)

​

• Official Regional Winner certificate — printed and mailed anywhere in the world

• Public recognition on worldseam.com and communications to schools in their region

• Essay considered for Global Winner selection

All Participants

• Digital Certificate of Participation emailed after the cycle closes

Section 3 — Certificate Delivery Winners choose whether their certificate is mailed to their home or their school. We mail to any country in the world at no cost to the winner.
